KEEPING OUR BATTERIES ENERGIZED

Although our chosen profession can be extremely"rewarding", there are also times when it can be rather "draining". If we are to lead happy and productive lives, we must be able to keep our batteries energized. As Nancy discusses some of the common "de-energizers"that people face, she will provide us with some valuable tips that we can use to keep both our personal and professional batteries energized.
 
 


PROGRAMMING YOUR PERSONAL COMPUTER (Your Mind)FOR SUCCESS

Success doesn't just automatically happen. We must prepare and program ourselves for our "successes." Nancy discusses the main characteristics of successful people and provides us with some inspiring examples of "success stories." She will also share the success formula of "The Three 'V's' to Victory," as well as some of the common computer "bugs" that we need to delete from our computer if we are to be successful.


MAXIMIZING COMMUNICATION : A LOOK AT BEHAVIORAL/ LEADERSHIP STYLES

There are some people with whom we automatically"click." There are others we find it much more challenging to deal with.Whether we "click" or "clash" is often a matter of pushing the right buttons and understanding behavioral styles. In this entertaining and informative session, Nancy discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the four basic behavioral styles. She will also provide participants with valuable tips as to how they can most effectively interact with the different styles.(Optional for more in-depth sessions-- Participants will also have an opportunity to take a non-threatening behavioral style profile assessment.


MAKING LEMONADE OUT OF LEMONS 

We can't always control what happens to us, but we can control how we react to what comes our way. Nancy discusses the role of "Attitude" in our happiness and success in life. Attitude not only governs our personal satisfaction , but it also has a tremendous effect on our interactions with friends, co-workers and clients/customers. In this session Nancy discusses several techniques that can be used to help develop and maintain a positive attitude toward ourselves and others even when life deals us lemons.
