Philosophy of Training
Effective training must be built on a solid foundation. Effective training encompasses attitudes, knowledge and skills. Effective training is an ongoing process that requires reinforcement.
If one segment of the pyramid is removed or not properly addressed,the pyramid will begin to crumble. Often training is not effective because all three layers of the pyramid are not properly addressed in sufficient depth. When companies spend money to address only one block of the pyramid many times they become frustrated that the training has not worked. The following comments are often made: "We gave our people training, but they are not applying it," or "They seem to use the information and practice the skills for awhile and then return to their old routine."

Methodology
We use a wide variety of methodologies for our training sessions. (Mini lectures,non-threatening leadership assessments, group discussions, simulation games and activities, story boarding, and audio and video tapes.) Generally the audience plays a very active role in the program. Our aim is to "educate,stimulate, motivate, and actuate the participants.

We work with a wide range of companies, associations and institutions from a cross section of industries. We have clients from both small and large companies. We have found that although each company, association,or institution has different challenges, generally the same "people " challenges occur in most industries. People are people, and although the specific situations, the names and the faces are different, the challenges are surprisingly similar.

Our Presenters
Although Dr. Nancy Utterback conducts the majority of our business training, we do have trainers and consultants that we will work with at different times when the need arises. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best training and consulting possible to meet their needs. The trainers we use not only have the knowledge and background in what they present, but they are professional presenters with the skills to enable their participants to develop the attitudes, knowledge and skills necessary to obtain the desired results. They involve the participants in the learning experience and at the same time they "educate, motivate,stimulate, and actuate" our wide variety of clients.
